Premiere League Comes Back To the Garden Parish

It is official. Mount Pleasant Academy has qualified for the Premier League with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Barbican at Barbican on Sunday to break the nearly eight year wait for Premier League football in the parish.

Man of the playoffs Kesslan ‘Zombie’ Hall opened the scoring very early in the first half at the 6th minute mark, and held the lead into the second half when Barbican equalized in the 48th minute to make it 1-1.

Not even a red card could daunt the Blue brigade from the hills of St. Ann and a 90+3 minute penalty sealed the issue for MP Stush.
